Birthdays

I make anything from custom-designed sheet cakes to the 3D cakes shown below. I am willing to try new ideas as well and am not limited to the photos shown.

The footballs in the image below are chocolate brownie truffles. Delish!

Pixie & Dixie


Here is the cake I made for a Pixie & Dixie cartoon lover (it's an old HB cartoon that makes me think a little bit of Tom & Jerry). I heard he enjoyed the cake and wouldn't let anyone eat the mice, which made me feel extra-great about making it, especially since I had to actually draw them on there. This cake rekindled my love for drawing, which I used to do all the time as a child and I'd forgotten how rewarding it can feel to do so!

Below is a fire helmet with buttercream icing for the majority. The shield and the reflective panels are made with fondant.
